Like a wide-open prairie sky, this story stretches with wit, faith, and romance that take your breath away. Lisa M. Prysock has that rare gift of weaving laughter and longing in the same breath, and she does it here with unmatched grace.

I loved Tanith’s resilience, her honesty with God, her moments of questioning: “…would God even hear her prayers…” That kind of raw vulnerability is what makes her triumph so radiant. When she decides “She would pray for him fervently … along with proving to him that God was still a God who performed miracles. She was living proof.”  I underlined it into my soul. That is what Christian fiction should be: living proof.

The dialogue? Delicious. The pacing? Pure perfection. The characters? Unforgettable. I adored every interaction, every quip, every deepening layer of faith. Even the cover captures it: windswept, romantic, unashamedly beautiful … mirroring the story within.

This novel is one you delight in because delighting in the Lord is its heartbeat. And somehow, through every moment of wit, wonder, and whispered prayer, that heartbeat becomes your own. Lisa M. Prysock’s Song of the Prairie series is already a treasure, and I’m thankful to have read this story … it has been such a refreshingly beautiful gift to my soul. I’m incredibly thankful for every page.
