Fugitive Manhunt kept me completely in the story, exactly where I wanted to be. I do not try to figure suspense stories out while I am reading them. I want to be right there with the characters, finding out what happens when they do.

The danger kept moving, the K-9 element was strong, and I really enjoyed Lizzie and Walker together. Their history added even more to the story. This was gripping from beginning to end.

The Christian faith was strong throughout the story too, which matters so much to me. God was part of their lives and the way they faced what was happening. I remember finishing this one knowing the faith had been strong and meaningful, and that is a huge part of why it earned five stars from me.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Mac Fowler, and the narration was excellent. The pacing, emotion, and suspense all came through so well. It was easy to follow, easy to sink into, and kept me completely immersed in the story.

I loved the way the romance, suspense, K-9 action, and Christian faith all worked together. Sharee Stover gave me exactly the kind of suspense I love to get lost in, and I enjoyed every minute of it.

I received an advance audiobook copy of this book from HarperCollins via NetGalley. My review reflects my honest, heartfelt opinion.
